Tilt and Turn Windows

What is a Tilt and turn window? This type of window functions in two ways: The tilt function opens the top of the sash inwards for ventilation, whilst the turn function creates an inward opening side hung operation. Tilt & turn windows can be cleaned from the inside and can also be used as emergency exits.

Tilt and turn windows have the ability to push designs to a new level. Due to their unique lock and hinge system, these windows are able to be made in larger sizes, going far beyond the limits of casement and flush windows. For ventilation they tilt inwards, and for maintenance and full air flow the windows are able to open in fully much like a door.
